The Falcon Cup has its champion.
After an intense Qualification phase and a high pressure Finals showdown, Vexcel Spain Drone Team has been crowned winner of the 2026 DCL Falcon Cup, opening the DCL 2026 World Championship campaign with a powerful statement.
Premiered on the official Drone Champions League YouTube channel on Sunday, 12 July 2026, the Falcon Cup Finals brought together the top four teams from the Qualification stage: Vexcel Spain Drone Team, DCL Wildcard Team, Cyclone Drone Racing, and RAIDEN RACING.

The Falcon Cup Finals began with four teams chasing the first major Cup victory of the 2026 season.
Vexcel Spain Drone Team entered the Finals as the top seed and immediately showed why. In the opening Quarter Final, Vexcel defeated Cyclone Drone Racing with a strong 21–9 result, securing their place in the Semi Finals.
On the other side of the bracket, DCL Wildcard Team delivered one of the major statements of the Finals, beating RAIDEN RACING 19–10 to move forward.
RAIDEN and Cyclone then met in the Rebound Round Quarter Final, where Cyclone edged out RAIDEN 16–13, keeping their Falcon Cup hopes alive and sending RAIDEN to fourth place in the final Cup ranking.
In the Semi Final, Vexcel Spain Drone Team continued their run with an 18–12 win over DCL Wildcard Team, becoming the first team to secure a place in the Cup Final.
Wildcard then had to fight their way back through the Rebound Round Semi Final, where they faced Cyclone Drone Racing. With the pressure rising and a place in the Final on the line, Wildcard responded with a composed 18–12 victory, setting up a rematch against Vexcel for the Falcon Cup title.
The Cup Final delivered the biggest race of the Falcon Cup.
Across seven heats, Vexcel Spain Drone Team showed consistency, pace, and control, defeating DCL Wildcard Team 42–28 to claim the Falcon Cup title.
It was a complete team performance from Vexcel, combining strong individual pace with the ability to deliver under pressure across the full Final format.
With the victory, Vexcel Spain Drone Team earns the maximum 10 points toward the overall DCL 2026 season classification and takes the early lead in the World Championship race.
The Falcon Cup Finals also produced major individual highlights.
Shturman from Vexcel Spain Drone Team was named Best Pilot of the Falcon Cup Finals with 29 points, playing a key role in Vexcel’s championship winning campaign.
The Fastest Race Time went to RedSheep from Vexcel Spain Drone Team, who recorded a blistering 1:48.448, underlining the pace that helped carry Vexcel to the top of the podium.
With the Falcon Cup now complete, the first points of the 2026 DCL World Championship are on the board.
Vexcel Spain Drone Team leads the standings, but the battle is only beginning. The road continues with the upcoming Eagle Cup, where teams will have another opportunity to fight for points, momentum, and a place in the season-ending DCL Super Final.
The Falcon has taken flight.
Now the championship race is officially on.
